Orrganic Elemennt

Hello loves!!

Let me ask you a question. Who likes to get pampered? I heard you! So, we all, especially girls love to get pampered at spa, salons or at home. We love our skin and hair a lot and almost every girl takes their precious time out to take care of  one's skin, hair, body. In the process of doing so, we often apply products which are not so friendly to our environment. We might even have turned a blind eye to what these chemicals can do to our skin and body at a long run. But you know what! I am glad that someone is actually looking out for you and the environment, yes, the Orrganic Elemennt .

I was so happy to witness the launch of the vegan spalon in Pune called Orrganic Elemennt . They claim to be India's first organic, vegan and cruelty-free spalon . To be frank with you guys when they first invited me to their launch I was not sure what they intended to do or what they cater to. But when I visited them, it was so clear . Orrganic Elemennt  strive to give the best organic treatments for skin, body and hair. This place speaks organic right from the interior  to the products used for all the services. Let me give you a brief idea about what this place has in store. Kaveeta , the owner/founder and her team have put so much thought to each and every corner of this place that it is worth writing about. The paints on the walls are lead free ,water based, the interiors are all jute and wooden. The products they use for various treatments are all derived from plants but without the use of chemical, fertilizers. Orrganic Element also has its own product range which I have used and I would  definitely want you guys to try. Coming back to their services, I am in love with the foot massage they provide. Any of you who visits this place, do get a foot massage!

Last but not the least, I am so impressed by the team, they are such nice people, the way they treat you is what pampers you the most! Thankyou, Orrganic Elemennt for having me. Looking forward to visit this awesome place again.

Sharing with you guys some of the products that I received and absolute love.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's post. I love you guys so much , XOXO.

OOTD

Hi everyone !!
It's been quite sometime since I have done an outfit post. So, here, I am doing an outfit of the day (OOTD) post. I know you guys love such posts. Seriously, I cannot thank you guys enough for the love and support that you shower upon me. Moving on to today's post, it is raining cats and dogs in different parts of India, I guess. So, I took a little inspiration from the cry-baby-sky (I invented that word!) , I mean the weather and tried something with navy blue and grey.

I have created two looks here with a plain navy blue dress that is super comfortable for day time.
For the first look, I have paired a grey shrug with the plain blue dress. I have tied the shrug in an unusual manner to make it look a bit more chic. This look would really be helpful when you feel a bit cold and chilly because of the constant rain. Since the whole outfit lacks bright colour, I thought of pairing it up with these super cute flats from Forever 21.

Now for the second look, I have dropped the shrug and opted for the awesome sunnies. I have  also made a side bun. This look is perfect for the day when the rain and the sun confuse us by playing hide and seek.

Hello bellas
I hope all you guys are doing good . Today we talk about our hobbies. Yes! What is yours?  Hobbies bring out the creative you, don't you agree? Some of us have been so busy that we might have already forgotten what our hobbies were. But no worries my friend. You can always remind yourself that you do have a hobby by switching off your mobile or finding a little time amidst your presentation-preparation. Escape the world of deadlines , bill payments and endless calls and make some space for your forgotten hobby in your life. Imagine you have had a terrible day and all you want to do is get away from the busy life you have but you can't because you tell yourself that you are caught up in your responsibilities. So, how do you find peace? Hobbies ! 15 minutes is all you need. Give yourself that extra minute and earn that long gone smile back on your face. Live your life and love your life.

I hope you guys enjoyed the post. I love you guys so much, XOXO.

Makeup No Makeup

Hello beauties!

Let me tell you before starting with today's post that I am loving the weather in Pune. Its been raining every now and then and let me tell you it was a much needed rain for the state is experiencing serious water scarcity for some time now. The weather is literally making me so happy. It's cold and believe it or not I am wrapped up in a blanket as I write this post. This weekend I have been a little busy doing something which I would soon be posting on my blog. So, this morning when I woke up to this romantic weather, I just told myself, I shall post a make up post today because I feel like playing with make up sitting at home and soaking the gorgeous view of the sky.

This is my first post related to make up. I am a person who would often go for looks which are everyday kind. I mean I like make up looks which can be worn for work, casual outings with friends or shopping. So, I have created a look  which I like to call NO MAKE UP LOOK.

Make up Breakdown

1.To start with the look, I used a  face moisturizer. Then, I used the Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light. This cream has got instant brightening property.

2.Then I used Veryme peach me perfect skin glow from Oriflame on my face which I used to get an even tone and also as the name suggests it does add a glow to your skin.

3.Next I used a concealer from True Match range in the shade light/medium by Loreal. I used  it under my eyes, corner of my nose to hide any fine lines, dark circles etc. I also used it on the bridge on my nose and on my forehead as a highlighter.

4.Next I grabbed my absolute favourite Fashion brow by Maybelline and made my eyebrows stand out with it.

5.For the eyes, I picked up the Maybelline Fit me Blush in the shade Coral and used it as an eye shadow all over my eye lids.

6.I used my all time favourite eyeliner by Lakme Absolute to draw a my kinda winged liner. If you know me you would know how I love winged liners. To make my eyes appear a little bit bigger I used a white eye pencil by oriflame on my water line. For mascara I used False Lash butterfly mascara by Loreal.

7.For lips I used a chap stick for my lips are super chapped and dry so I need chap sticks all the time. After giving some life back to my lips, I applied my favourite nude lipstick by MAC called Velvet Teddy. To give some more colour to my lips I used a coat of a coral lipstick from Lakme absolute gloss addict called Desert rose. I used a transparent gloss to set my lips.

MAC Velvet Teddy

Lakme Absolute Desert Rose

The products I have used here are mostly available at any cosmetic shops and are affordable. I wanted to do an everyday look that suits majority of our Indian skin tone. So, I chose a very peachy-coral warm look.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know if you guys want videos of make up looks. I love you guys so much, XOXO. Now, I will go back to sleep. Blame the weather.

Memoirs with Paperboat

Hello lovely people
The other day I was out to buy vegetables when my eyes caught sight of the lovely green guavas nicely arranged in a tokri (basket) and at once my mind flew back to those times of my childhood days when I would ask ma to give me some money so that I could buy guavas. Not just some guavas, I was very particular about buying guavas. I would only buy it from an old man who sat under a tree near my house. I loved the way he would cut the guavas into pieces and mix them well with some salt and chilli powder. I must confess that my salivary gland worked to their full potential at those times. I would eat some sitting and chatting with the old man and would bring back home some for my ma who loves guavas. Time flew by and I gradually got more involved with other things in life. Never have I even  bothered to eat  guava by cutting it so meticulously, let alone sprinkling salt or chilli powder on it.

That day in the mail I got a gift from Paper boat drinks. It was their all new Chilli Guava flavoured drink. Well, the name at once made me curious enough to sip it. Honestly, I was not expecting what I felt. You must have seen those advertisements in television where it is shown that a character is transported to a place full of mangoes after having a mango flavoured drink. Yes, I felt somewhat like that. No, I was not transported to a guava tree but seriously,I felt as if I was transported magically to my childhood days. If you love the taste of chilli powder sprinkled guava but are caught up too very much with your daily routined work then you sure would love to steal a moment of  your present life and savour the long lost memories of your childhood through this drink. Yes, you heard me right, Paperboat does as it claims , it indeed brings a piece of your lovely, sweet childhood memory into your lap and paints a happy picture of you. Paperboat has done an amazing work in bringing out the taste of indigenous India. Thank you  Paperboat.

I hope you guys enjoyed  the post. I love you guys so much . XOXO .
