Bejewelled with The PinkMint Box

Hello guys! I have missed you . So, how is June treating you? Coming back to this post, if you guys are following me for sometime now, then you would know my love for accessories. Being an accessory hoarder , I am always in the hunt for finding the right accessory for my outfits. I was happily surprised to find an amazing jewellery subscription box named, THE PINKMINT BOX .
The box comes in a cute cardboard packaging like this which this everything! I love such cute packaging like this. The box comes with some awesome jewellery and accessory pieces and retails for Rs 1200/- . I know by now, you guys would be dying to know what's inside the box, right? So, let's find you.

The first thing is this super cute watch with oh so pretty, pink band. You do get options for choosing the band colour, As you know my love for the colour pink, I had to choose this particular watch. The simplicity and the combination of gold and pink totally impressed me.

I am totally in love with these beautiful earrings. The design , the colour, everything is so pretty that it feels we were meant to be. Does this happen to you? I am totally looking forward to wearing it with a  LBD, I think they would make an amazing pair, what do you think?

Next up is this absolute beauty, a gold stone studded cuff which has my heart. It is for some unknown reason, giving me Egyptian vibes. I do not know why! This piece will definitely be a head turner in parties. The detailing is amazing. It's a must have.

I love collecting rings. Any shape, any colour, I just love them. I really love these two which is giving me very antique vibes. These kinds seem to be in trend right now for I have seen quite a few celebs sporting them and now, I have them too. The stone, the boho element, the colour is just the perfect combination anyone can ask for, don't you think?

A statement neckpiece can totally be a game changer for your outfit. I am totally head over heals for this one. This beauty is surely going to be my go to during my upcoming shoots. I just can't wait to style it. The design makes it perfect for ethnic and western outfits.

The last things which totally made me go 'aww' are these cuties. If sponges are made so cute then I definitely see myself doing make up more often. What about you?

So, those were everything which I got in my pinkmint box. I definitely am loving the products. I think it is an amazing deal for the price you pay. So, if you are a jewellery and accessory lover like me, then do not forget to check out the Pink mint box and you can thank me later, haha. I am sharing all the details of the pink mint box ,below. Review of Fuschia's skin care products

Hello loves!
I hope you all are doing well. As you can tell from the title of today's post, it is a review of the products which Fuschia by Vkare was kind enough to send me.

Fushia by Vkare is a brand which has natural, handmade, cruelty free, SLS and paraben free skin care products.

Now, before I start with the review, I would like to mention that all the products which I will be discussing about are tried/used by me and therefore, you can expect my honest review.

Moving on, so, here, I have three products by Fuschia

  • Fuschia brightening face gel
  • Fuschia blush face mask
  • Fuschia ageless serum

Let's talk about them one by one.

Fuschia brightening face gel (Berry Blend)

This face gel comes in a cute transparent container with a silver coloured lid (100 grams). The product is visible through the transparent container and has a pale pink colour.

The gel has a very soothing light fragrance to it. The gel has a very liquidy, water like feel on hands.

The ingredients used are quite impressive , aloe vera, sea buck thorn extract, blueberry oil, vitamin E, raspberry oil.

When I used it on my clean, freshly washed face, it felt very cool and the fragrance also had a soothing effect on me. It took some seconds to get absorbed into my skin and did add a glow to my face.
Overall, I can say I like this product and I am using it more often now.

Fuschia blush face mask (Rose and Calamine)

This face mask also comes in a similar transparent container (100 grams). The product has an off white colour.

The mask has a light fragrance but if you smell it for long then a pungent (strong) fragrance  hits your nose.

The ingredients used are rose water, calamine, glycerine , aloe vera etc. Now, calamine is so good for the skin. It has anti bacterial properties, it is good for people who has redness. itchyness, uneven skin tone.

The product is light on the skin but in anything but liquidy. It has a cooling effect on the skin. To make the application process easier, you may  mix some rose water to it and apply.

It dried really fast and after wash, it leaves a healthy glow to your skin.

Overall, I like the product for unlike many other face masks, it does not leave my skin dry. I have pigmentation around my nose. After I applied this product I saw less of those pigmentations.

Fuschia Ageless Serum (Rose water and dead sea minerals)

This serum comes in a small white bottle which has a pump applicator. This ensures that only a required amount of product comes out. The bottle has 30 ml of product which is quite good for a serum.

The product is transparent to white in colour. It is very liquidy and runny. I am not attracted to the fragrance as such.

The ingredients are again very impressive. Dead sea minerals are always beneficial when it comes to skin care and anti oxidant properties. Rose water, aloe vera, vitamin E are always good for the skin.

The product feels light on the skin and has a cooling effect to it. But after drying, my skin felt a little sticky.

Now, I do not have any wrinkles or fine lines as such but this product does say that it prevents any of those signs or delays them. So, overall, I can say I am using it and you guys can give it a try too.

I hope you guys liked today's post. All the details regarding Fuschia is given below. I love you guys so much, XOXO.

A random shoot

Hi guys!
Hope you are doing well. Moving on to today's post, this was a sudden unplanned shoot. Well, what can I say I have some awesome friends in my life. So, my bestie and I go for a movie and I tell her to take my photo and she says sure for the blog . So, that is how I started posing in the middle of so many faces staring at us like we have gone crazy. But when this cuteheart (my bestie) is by my side,  weird faces and staring eyes are nothing. Haha.

Here, I have paired a black top with a cream coloured palazzo. Palazzo pants are everywhere in the markets nowadays and people seem to love them. I wanted to style them but of course in an unusual way. So, I chose this short top which has pink borders which is fitted up to the chest and then loose/flared. This top would generally be worn with a pair of jeans or so but I chose flared on flared combination instead. I have completed the look with a top knot and a dusty pink choker.

Mulshi in Monsoon

Hello loves!
First of all, I am so sorry for not being able to post these few days but now, I am back! Since it is the monsoon month, I again took advantage of the weather and went to Mulshi. It is a beautiful place whose beauty is increased 10 fold with the arrival of monsoon. The green everywhere was a treat to the eyes and as I am a bengali I always associate enjoyment with  ' pet puja'. We stopped at the Paradise Cafe , famous for its yummy Punjabi food ended up tasting some delicious food while soaking the beauty of Mulshi lake which stood right in front of my table. Well, you can imagine as much as you want, haha. I am sharing some of the beautiful pictures from Mulshi which show how beautiful this place is, enjoy!

I hope you guys liked the post, I promise to be back soon. XOXO

Lonavala

Hello friends!!

If you follow me on instagram then you can guess what the post is going to be about and those of you who don't know , this post is about my recent trip to Lonavala. As the weather is perfect for a Lonavala trip, my friends and I decided to go ahead and calm ourselves. We went on a sunday as the then weather seemed perfect.

We had so many places to visit in Lonavala but you know sunday, rain and Lonavala deadly combo! Yes, we were not alone and much to our surprise it felt no less than a crowded city. Seeing the gravity of the situation, we decided to go for Tiger point and only Tiger point. Why? Because there was no way to go elsewhere for we were stuck on the way to tiger point for 1 -1 and a half hours. Yes!

The scenic beauty of the place completely looked unearthly. As we were closing our destination, our complains turned into 'Wows' and we were soaking energy and peace from the beauty that was in front of our eyes. We were all chirpy and refreshed at once. I am sure secretly, all my friends like me were asking themselves how such beauty could exist in nature. For one fleeting moment, we forgot to click pictures because we had forgotten that we had camera. But the camera could not be put to much use for nature had other plans. It chose to be in our memories rather than in the frames. But you know us, being the tech freak we are, we managed some captures especially for you guys. So, enjoy!

I hope you guys enjoyed the post. I love you guys so much, XOXO.

OOTD

Hi everyone !!
It's been quite sometime since I have done an outfit post. So, here, I am doing an outfit of the day (OOTD) post. I know you guys love such posts. Seriously, I cannot thank you guys enough for the love and support that you shower upon me. Moving on to today's post, it is raining cats and dogs in different parts of India, I guess. So, I took a little inspiration from the cry-baby-sky (I invented that word!) , I mean the weather and tried something with navy blue and grey.

I have created two looks here with a plain navy blue dress that is super comfortable for day time.
For the first look, I have paired a grey shrug with the plain blue dress. I have tied the shrug in an unusual manner to make it look a bit more chic. This look would really be helpful when you feel a bit cold and chilly because of the constant rain. Since the whole outfit lacks bright colour, I thought of pairing it up with these super cute flats from Forever 21.

Now for the second look, I have dropped the shrug and opted for the awesome sunnies. I have  also made a side bun. This look is perfect for the day when the rain and the sun confuse us by playing hide and seek.

Makeup No Makeup

Hello beauties!

Let me tell you before starting with today's post that I am loving the weather in Pune. Its been raining every now and then and let me tell you it was a much needed rain for the state is experiencing serious water scarcity for some time now. The weather is literally making me so happy. It's cold and believe it or not I am wrapped up in a blanket as I write this post. This weekend I have been a little busy doing something which I would soon be posting on my blog. So, this morning when I woke up to this romantic weather, I just told myself, I shall post a make up post today because I feel like playing with make up sitting at home and soaking the gorgeous view of the sky.

This is my first post related to make up. I am a person who would often go for looks which are everyday kind. I mean I like make up looks which can be worn for work, casual outings with friends or shopping. So, I have created a look  which I like to call NO MAKE UP LOOK.

Make up Breakdown

1.To start with the look, I used a  face moisturizer. Then, I used the Lakme 9 to 5 Insta Light. This cream has got instant brightening property.

2.Then I used Veryme peach me perfect skin glow from Oriflame on my face which I used to get an even tone and also as the name suggests it does add a glow to your skin.

3.Next I used a concealer from True Match range in the shade light/medium by Loreal. I used  it under my eyes, corner of my nose to hide any fine lines, dark circles etc. I also used it on the bridge on my nose and on my forehead as a highlighter.

4.Next I grabbed my absolute favourite Fashion brow by Maybelline and made my eyebrows stand out with it.

5.For the eyes, I picked up the Maybelline Fit me Blush in the shade Coral and used it as an eye shadow all over my eye lids.

6.I used my all time favourite eyeliner by Lakme Absolute to draw a my kinda winged liner. If you know me you would know how I love winged liners. To make my eyes appear a little bit bigger I used a white eye pencil by oriflame on my water line. For mascara I used False Lash butterfly mascara by Loreal.

7.For lips I used a chap stick for my lips are super chapped and dry so I need chap sticks all the time. After giving some life back to my lips, I applied my favourite nude lipstick by MAC called Velvet Teddy. To give some more colour to my lips I used a coat of a coral lipstick from Lakme absolute gloss addict called Desert rose. I used a transparent gloss to set my lips.

MAC Velvet Teddy

Lakme Absolute Desert Rose

The products I have used here are mostly available at any cosmetic shops and are affordable. I wanted to do an everyday look that suits majority of our Indian skin tone. So, I chose a very peachy-coral warm look.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know if you guys want videos of make up looks. I love you guys so much, XOXO. Now, I will go back to sleep. Blame the weather.
