Review of BBLUNT Hair Colour

Hello guys
I hope all are doing well. In today's post I am going to review the popular Salon Secret Hair Colour which BBLUNT was nice enough to send me. Let's get started.

The colour that I chose was natural brown. My ma was kind enough to let me apply the colour on her beautiful long wavy  brown-black (with slight grey) hair.

Now, coming back to the product, the packaging looks classy. Inside it comes four things which are
-the colour
-the developer
-the shine tonic
-a pair of gloves
One thing I would like to mention is that inside the package, the contents are alloted different chambers so that the possibility of the individual products getting ruined in transit is least.

I mixed the individual items in a glass bowl and mixed them so that they resulted into an off white colour like in the picture.

Using a brush, I took little sections of the hair and coloured them.

I was a bit worried about the fact that my mother has long hair so she might need more colour than available but to my surprise the colour did cover the full volume of hair.

After 30-40 minutes, the hair was washed. The colour did not irritate or create any sort of reaction which is worth mentioning because my mother does have a very sensitive skin.

The hair after drying naturally looked like this.

As I said my mother has brown hair and a bit of grey. The colour did not look very different from her natural hair and did cover the greys. Also, the shine tonic did add a shine to the hair as promised. So, all in all my mother and I like this product and its a thumbs up from my side.

I hope you liked today's post. Until next time keep smiling.XOXO.

Diwali ready look

Hello people!
I am back as promised with a diwali ready makeup look. I am super excited for this post. So, let's get started!

(All the product details and their links are listed at the end of the post)

You guys know that one should always moisturize her face before starting off with the makeup.

Steps
Taking my favourite foundation at the moment, Maybelline Fit me foundation, I am putting it in small dots all across my face.
Then grabbing the PAC mini beauty blender sponge (after wetting it),  I am blending in my foundation .

Then doing the usual with the concealer, fit me again!

I am setting my face (so that my makeup stays in place) with miss claire's loose face powder.

For eyebrows, I am taking the makeup revolution eye brow quad and taking the brown colour ,I am shaping my eyebrows. To set my eyebrows in place I am locking them with a wax which also comes in this quad.

For the eyes, I am taking the NYX dream catcher palette and putting the brown matte colour  on my crease.

Taking the golden shade I am putting it all over my eye lids and blending it with the brown colour so that it forms a nice gradient.

Taking the shimmer champagne colour I am putting it on the centre of my  eyelids.

Taking the lightest pinky white colour I am putting it on my brow bone and inner corners to highlight.

Taking the brownish black colour I am applying it near my lower lash line.

For liner and mascara I am taking lakme 9to 5 liner and my favourite, maybelline mascara.

This completes the eye look.

Then for contouring my nose and face, I am taking the L.A. girl pro concealer in the shade toast and drawing somewhat straight lines on my nose and along the hollows of my cheeks.

For blush and highlight, I am taking a very subtle pink blush from Milani and for highlight I am taking my usual revlon highlighter.

For lipstick I am mixing two shades, maybelline Big apple red in 209 and kylie metal lipstick in heir.

This is the complete look. I hope you like this look. This is a very easy yet subtle glam look and would go with any kind of Indian year.

Wish you a very happy and safe Diwali. I will be back with a bhai dwitiya/ bhai dooj day look. Until next like stay happy ,stay blessed.

Review on Charcoal Face pack from Fabindia

Hello guys,
I hope everybody is doing well. Now, diwali is around the corner and all of you must be excited for it. I will soon be posting a diwali related post. My friend recommended me to try the Fabindia charcoal face pack and today's post is all about the first impression of the product on me. Let's get started.

Packaging
The product comes in a transparent white plastic container so that the product is visible. I like these kind of packaging for we get the idea of the appearance of what we are buying.

Price
The price of the product is Rs 350 for 125g of product which is a little expensive.

Ingredients
Activated charcoal, almond oil, lactic acid, zinc oxide, glycerine etc. Charcoal is good for absorbing dirt and oil from the skin. This products says it has multani mitti as its base.

Fragrance
It has a very lemony and citrusy fragrance.

Appearance
The product looks geyish black and seems to be quite thick.

Feel
In reality, the product on the skin is quite light, not thick and did not irritate my skin.

Do I like it?
I would say I do. My main concern was I have dry/combination skin so it might make my skin dry. But it did nothing of that sort. My T zone was oily enough and this product did what it claims. It did make my skin look healthier. I was breaking out a bit so it also helped me on that. Overall, I would say people who have normal to oil skin they must give it a try and dry to combination skin people can also give it a try. I would not recommend it to people who have extremely dry skin.

I hope you guys like this post. Until next time, see you guys later, XOXO.

Review of Fuschia's skin care products

Hello loves!
I hope you all are doing well. As you can tell from the title of today's post, it is a review of the products which Fuschia by Vkare was kind enough to send me.

Fushia by Vkare is a brand which has natural, handmade, cruelty free, SLS and paraben free skin care products.

Now, before I start with the review, I would like to mention that all the products which I will be discussing about are tried/used by me and therefore, you can expect my honest review.

Moving on, so, here, I have three products by Fuschia

  • Fuschia brightening face gel
  • Fuschia blush face mask
  • Fuschia ageless serum

Let's talk about them one by one.

Fuschia brightening face gel (Berry Blend)

This face gel comes in a cute transparent container with a silver coloured lid (100 grams). The product is visible through the transparent container and has a pale pink colour.

The gel has a very soothing light fragrance to it. The gel has a very liquidy, water like feel on hands.

The ingredients used are quite impressive , aloe vera, sea buck thorn extract, blueberry oil, vitamin E, raspberry oil.

When I used it on my clean, freshly washed face, it felt very cool and the fragrance also had a soothing effect on me. It took some seconds to get absorbed into my skin and did add a glow to my face.
Overall, I can say I like this product and I am using it more often now.

Fuschia blush face mask (Rose and Calamine)

This face mask also comes in a similar transparent container (100 grams). The product has an off white colour.

The mask has a light fragrance but if you smell it for long then a pungent (strong) fragrance  hits your nose.

The ingredients used are rose water, calamine, glycerine , aloe vera etc. Now, calamine is so good for the skin. It has anti bacterial properties, it is good for people who has redness. itchyness, uneven skin tone.

The product is light on the skin but in anything but liquidy. It has a cooling effect on the skin. To make the application process easier, you may  mix some rose water to it and apply.

It dried really fast and after wash, it leaves a healthy glow to your skin.

Overall, I like the product for unlike many other face masks, it does not leave my skin dry. I have pigmentation around my nose. After I applied this product I saw less of those pigmentations.

Fuschia Ageless Serum (Rose water and dead sea minerals)

This serum comes in a small white bottle which has a pump applicator. This ensures that only a required amount of product comes out. The bottle has 30 ml of product which is quite good for a serum.

The product is transparent to white in colour. It is very liquidy and runny. I am not attracted to the fragrance as such.

The ingredients are again very impressive. Dead sea minerals are always beneficial when it comes to skin care and anti oxidant properties. Rose water, aloe vera, vitamin E are always good for the skin.

The product feels light on the skin and has a cooling effect to it. But after drying, my skin felt a little sticky.

Now, I do not have any wrinkles or fine lines as such but this product does say that it prevents any of those signs or delays them. So, overall, I can say I am using it and you guys can give it a try too.

I hope you guys liked today's post. All the details regarding Fuschia is given below. I love you guys so much, XOXO.

DIY super easy nailart

Hi guys!
Subho bijoya! I had an amazing Durga Pujo this year and I am hoping you all had too. Now, coming to today's post, it is a simple DIY (Do It Yourself) nail art. So, let's jump into the post.

Requirements

  • A top-base coat
  • A light shade
  • A dark shade

I have used

  • Oriflame's theONE top and base coat
  • Maybelline's Colorshow pale pink color in the shade Constant Candy (401)
  • Faces's brown color in the shade True Shimmer Brown

Steps

  • Use the base coat first.

  • Apply the light shade on your fingers leaving the ring finger.

  • Ensure the light shade dries opaque for you do not want patchy nails.
  • Now, take the dark shade and make a dot as shown here.

  • Draw a curve line joining the dot to the tip of the nail as shown here.

  • Continue to draw such curved lines as many as you want on your  finger.
  • Remember, try to make the curved lines asymmetric and you need not make it flawless.
  • After having done all the fingers (except the ring finger) it should look like this.

  • Now, lets concentrate on the ring finger. paint half the finger light and the rest dark (vertically).
  • Now draw triangles at the corners of the finger with contrasting colors.
  • You could add some dots vertically to make it look pretty.

  • Add some top coat to secure your efforts in place.(LOL)
  • This is the final look.

I hope you guys liked it. It is super easy and does not require any tool or technique whatsoever .
I love you guys so much. XOXO.

Get soft-smokey eyes (no brush involved)

Hello guys!
I hope all is well on your end. Now, coming to today's post. I am getting a lot of requests to do some looks for the coming festivities. It makes my heart melt to see such overwhelming response from you guys. In today's post, I will show you how to get soft ,smokey eyes and that too without any brushes, yay!

Things you need

Concealer

Brown and black eye shadow

Brown kajal

Mascara

Steps

Use the concealer to hide any veins or pigmentation on your eye lids.

Now, take the brown matte shade and with the help of your ring finger apply it all over the eyelids and smudge it out till the crease. This will act as a base for your eyes.

Take the brown kajal and apply it near the outer v of the eye and smudge it in a manner so that the darker side is near your outer v and the smudged out portion are the eye lids and inner corner.

To build more intensity, take some black eye shadow on your ring finger and just put a little on the outer v of your eye. Again smudge it out.

Use a mascara to give some volume to your lashes and with that you have got the look you wanted. A soft smokey eye-look.
Before|After

I hope you like this post. This look is so easy and can be worn with ethnic and western outfits during the festivities. Do re-create this look and send me pictures. XOXO.
